WMCS was registered with the Registry of Societies of National Council of Social Services (NCSS) as a non-profit voluntary welfare organisation in 2002. The objectives for which the society is established are to promote, develop and implement diverse social and community services, including learning programmes, focusing on the needs of the community, including children, youth, families and the elderly, regardless of race and religion.
